This tutorial will walk you through creating a Drag and Drop picker that can interact with an object’s attributes in the Maya Viewport.

The main topics that we will be learning include installing event filters to catch the drag and drop action from a QListWidget to a QGroupBox, and subclassing a QGroupBox to create a custom widget that can be moved around in the work area.

The source file is included with the tutorial, and can be run directly into a Python Tab inside Maya.
